What Clavinger said, April 21, 2014

Since we're kind of on our own for tunes at the moment, I flashed this one from the TuneECU site on the advice from Clav: http://www.tuneecu.com/Tunes_in_Hex_and_dat/All_Tunes_sorted_by_model/all_Rocket/Rocket_Roadster_from_VIN%20574813/Charles%20Bozonier%20nels%20map%20MORE%20FUEL.zip This...

Tune ECU and my 2016 Rocket

I'm running a tune of Nel's I found on the TuneECU site. Bike is running great. I probably will get. PCV at some point still, as I'm in FL. I won't be getting up to Washington any time soon!

Tune ECU and my 2016 Rocket

I haven't flashed a Hanso tune, I flashed one from the TuneECU website. I didn't ask the dealer one way or the other, but my dad had his bike fixed on warranty after flashing tunes. The only thing you would need to do is flash a stock tune when you took it in, I don't think they would dig that...

PSA - TuneECU might have a weakness on 2014+ R3s.

I didn't get a direct quote, but they are $100 an hour so at least 100. I'd rather spend my money on a real Dyno somewhere or a TuneBoy license.

Tune ECU and my 2016 Rocket

Right on, I've already flashed with TuneECU and I'll be eventually dynoing, so I guess we'll know for sure one way or the other.

Claviger has been getting this issue, regardless of what he puts in the programming.

I agree, but sadly I live in Central Florida and all the Dyno guys I know use DynoJet and have no idea what TuneBoy or TuneECU is. My dealership wants to charge to flash ten TORS tune, which is why I just did it myself.

I've got a 16, can confirm that you can flash tunes to it fine with TuneECU. My question is though, is this drop off at 5800 still an issue? I used put a slip on on my bike and used TuneECU to flash the standard Triumph TORS tune, I was concerned about running too lean. Should I be concerned...

Tune ECU and my 2016 Rocket

So I read that TuneECU had an issue with lean spots at around 5000 rpm with the newer models of Rockets. Is this true?

Look what I just brought home!

****, I thought I did good getting a 2016 with no miles for $9999 but you might have beaten me!

2016 Roadster, D&D Slip Ons, K&N in the stock airbox

So I recently got my 2016 Roadster and one of the great things about my dad having a 2005 Classic is that i can raid his cast off box for parts! I picked up a K&N filter for the stock air box and a set of D&D Slip ons he ran before he got his Jardines. The bike sounds WAY better and looks way...

Howdy. I just got a 2016 Roadster. I'm running D&D slip ons with the stock O2 sensor and a K&N in the stock air box. Does TuneEcu still work with these bikes and if so, which tune should I be running?

    Glad to be here...

I have spent the last decade watching my dad love the 2006 Rocket III he pre-ordered when the bike came out, so I was very excited when I spotted recently spotted a 2016 Rocket III Roadster with 0 miles for under 10k! I'd been looking for a bike to upgrade to from my 2003 Honda VTX 1800C. I...
