    Never had Bridgestone on my R3, just what came from the factory on my Bonneville.... My one and only experience with Avon was not a good one, this happened at 600 miles....

    My ignition went in and out for about a year.....started at around 30k miles....... The thing would be dead......but 10-20 minutes later it would start...... Dealer replaced the ignition...think it was $600 US or so......was not happy about hearing it was a common (and ignored) problem.......

    Oh I get on it but then I always have.....I've put 53,000 miles on the thing so I know how it should perform.....No engine mods for performance.....

    Thanks....I remember the stepper motor being one of the things they worked on......I also remember one of the mechanics saying he thought it might be the front end of the fuel injection so I'll ask again about that...

    The bike still has all the power on acceleration but it does run slightly rough at cruise.....

    Yes it really did blow...Avon with 600 miles on it... Hadn't thought about taking it for Dyno...thats a good idea I'll mention it to the dealer... I seem to remember the 02 sensor being the first thing they tried... What does PCV stand for? Does ECU/TUNE mean the brain or the fuel injection...

    Thanks...no the standard distances I regularly ride....100 miles RT on Sunday for breakfast mu fuel light comes on half way home after filling up...
