    Risers for the GT

It’s just giving numb hands after a while. I had a similar issue with my BMW S1000XR at first. Rubber bushings, bar ends and neoprene grip wraps sorted that.

I’ll take it back to the garage and get them to have a look…I tend to break things.

    Risers for the GT

The garage removed the dash display to fit them…but I used a shortened Allen key as my low tech solution to check the bolts stay tight, periodically. Checked again tonight…nothing loose. What’s your thoughts on filling the bars with lead shot? As I’ve already put neoprene grip wraps on.

    Risers for the GT

I’ll give them a check again today. Possibly worked loose a bit. Probably makes sense as the vibes are definitely worse than when first installed. Had to cut an Allen key shorter to get 2 of the bolts due to tight access. That does concern me I’m not getting enough torque in those two.

Maurice, did you notice any additional vibes in your bars after the install?

    Helmet and bike Bluetooth issue

I have a 2020 Rocket 3 GT with Bluetooth and use a Shoei Neotec 2 with Sena headset inside. I can make calls out via the bike bar controls but all incoming calls get kicked to my answer machine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Risers for the GT

Well these are the ROX risers for the BMW GS that seem to fit perfectly. The mechanics said he had to pull a bit of length through for the digital display…but nothing else needed moved or adjusted. I see threading through the risers so I may run a threaded bar through both and bolt the ends for...

    Diamond Cut Wheels

I’m going to get the whole bike sprayed with ACF50 once the wheels are replaced. That may also be an idea for yourself.

    Diamond Cut Wheels

Actually I think the thing that pushed it across the line with Triumph is when I told them I’d approached other diamond cut refurb companies. They stated it sounded like a poor weatherproof lacquer put on at the end...plus they guaranteed they’re refurbished for a year. I pointed out to Triumph...

    Diamond Cut Wheels

The black coating was essentially starting to lightly bubble at the extreme edge of the rim. I also noted discolouration to a few of the spokes, so potentially worse...but give it time. All the other non coated components need Scotchbrite pads to clean them up then autosol Polish...pain in the...

    Diamond Cut Wheels

I’m quite pleased. Especially when I priced new wheels....£1350 for the pair.

It would appear Triumph are replacing the wheels under warranty. Result!

    Diamond Cut Wheels

Yeah it is a bit of a concern that a British manufacturer doesn’t really consider the British weather. I took it to the dealer, which is 2 hours away, and the salt from the road had left deposits on my bike...so they automatically tried to palm it off. I’m an Inspection Engineer by trade...so...
