    Brought a new battery to the bike, with a good set of tools. Connected the new battery... Still nothing. So I lifted up the tank, key ignition is on, wiggled the cables one by one under the tank and check the connections. Suddenly. Bbbbp, I have lights again! I might have caused the cable...

    The shop is full and can't take anymore until next Tuesday, so the plan is to tow it to a short-term bike storage specialist that charges $20 a night (very reasonable in SF). I am still puzzled by what went wrong with the bike, (there were some threads here mentioned similar situation.) so here...

    What a night... My phone battery eventually died trying to read the manual. The obd port is rested in the old place beside the battery and the battery is connected again... But the bike won't start... The headlight, engine light won't turn on as if the battery is completely dead. Downtown...
