Only thing is the zard comes with some form of cat? So I dunno if it would work I need to pull the exhaust off today doesn't seem to be flowing through both sides of the exhaust freely just 80% one side and 20% left its weird.....

The zards do seem to have a habit of disintegrating from the inside out . I have platts and really like them , but if you want the pinnacle of performance in free flowing exhausts then whistle for our in house guru and all round top man and exhaust builder extraordinaire @Paul Bryant !

Ps . Is it true , like our favourite Scotsman @scot in exile says , that all scotsmen keep goats in their garages ?

Hi Samo and welcome to the forum. I too have an '07 which, funnily enough came with the Zard penta system. This exhaust is not designed to give a free flowing route for the gasses...and it does seem to have something inside the collector. Mine rattled and popped so badly it was removed at the first opportunity. I keep forgetting to get the angle grinder out to find out what has come loose inside. It could certainly be some sort of Cat. I've changed over to a @Paul Bryant twin muffler system with a cat delete pipe. The tune recommended by @Fenners is the one I too used to get rid of the decal popping ( bloody great big explosions in reality) - ran much better! Good luck and let us know the results

Edit: So is it true about the Goats?? I always thought it was a cage full of Stoats and a roll of duck tape!

Hello everybody! It's about time I pulled my finger out and joined, everytime I have a question I always seem to be able to find answers from all you lovely people! Could get lost in here for hours! I am a relatively new rocket owner had my 07 since Feb and only got to ride it till around may when my cam tensioner decided to give up on me and bend almost everything it could touch..... Very sad day! But all fixed now and one very light wallet later, she is growling again all be it with a decel pop that would burst your ear drums that it never had before but I kinda like it! Scaring people as I ride past!

Shout up and say hello hopefully I will be able to pick some brains!
