Ugarte, you da man! Did you sell your DL650? If so what made ya do it? I have always been very interested in that bike.

I sold the vstrom a few weeks ago. I really liked the bike but it was just too tame, too plain, too mundane....that is, after owning the Rocket for a year. It did take me all over the place, 20,000 miles worth, and was always reliable.

I keep the vs 800 as a back up bike for now, but may sell it too and get either a speed3, fz1, or another rocket....stripped of all the touring crap.

I like the Rocket MORE now than I did when I bought it....it just keeps growing on me. I cannot understand anyone selling their Rocket unless thave have too.
 
Social experiment to test the true sheepish nature of humans I really was hoping you wouldn't answer that's why I picked such an old thread .
