Welcome Sarkmedic. A readily-available alternative is the "Classic" saddle. In Triumph's accessories list for the "standard" Rocket. Pillions ("wardens" ) rate it much better than the std issue comfort-wise. Add the optional sissy bar and she'll BLAME you for having waited so long. Best. Jamie
There's a business in South Florida that will redo a stock seat with special fillings and wide handles. Though I've not gone there yet, I believe they are reasonably priced. ContactPadded Panty, Padded Underwear with Butt Pads
When you say R3 Touring bike, are you referring to the 2008 R3 Touring model? If so, the other seats (Classic/Standard) won't fit. The Russell Day Long suggested earlier is considered by many long distance riders as the most comfortable seat available.
I called Russel's yesterday about delivery on a seat that was ordered today. They are scheduled till September 18th already.
I was hoping to get a new saddle for The ES trip, that ain't gunna happen. Did mention they would do a group purchase deal after November. If there are enough captains interested maybe we could make a smooth deal
