Does anyone use an SMH10? Observations.

I use the Sena SMH5 and have mixed feelings about it. It was pretty simple to install, paired pretty easily but my one gripe on it (on my trip last week) was that the volume wasn't loud enough and is limited by how loud the volume goes on your IPod or MP3 player. I did not receive any phone calls while traveling so I do not know if the volume was insufficient as well at high speeds.

Curious as to what comes most of the R3 guys use. I understand that different manufacturers will not communicate with each other. Too bad there is not a common freq that you could then pair other brands together when having gatherings.

Mine (a uclear) has an option that alows you to use a business freq. Radio or a cb if everyone went that rt.. u could get a mixed group working via 2-way thru bluetooth

The group I ride with is dominated with Scala's and I personally own a pair of Q3's. I love the FM option and they are crystal clear to phone callers. Most people don't even realize I am riding my motorcycle.
One guy in the group has the SMH10, he said he likes it but is going to get the Q3 for both the FM function and so he can pair with the rest of us.

I have the Chatterbox system on my HJC IS-MAX. It has worked well with my German 665 for both GPS and MP3 with plenty of volume. I have also received phone calls with clarity. I do not make them though on the bike. The HJC is made with a slot for the Chatterbox. Mounts nice an flush with the helmet.
But since I am seriously considering purchasing a Schubert Pro, I thought I would check out the Sena SMH10 and Cardo G9x.
Not sure how much better the Schuberth is compared to the HJC or for that matter the Shark Evoline. Shuberth has the SRC-S system but doubt it is worth the extra cost... So many decisions

I forgot to mention, the Chatterbox charges as I ride with a cable to a port. Never worry about battery life.
