Seafoam

Update on seafoam.
About a month ago, even though warm temps, 1st crank in the mornings would not fire up. Acted like in the below 40 degrees behavior before I solved by hitting lights first, then starter.
So I added seafoam and ran about 50 miles. From then on fires 1st time every time. Thinking even though top tier gas, injectors get clogged a bit from ethanol. I will use a bit every few tank fulls.

That is exactly what I do. Most every fill-up or depending on my riding every other at most. Sea Foam is a good product and I wouldn't worry if I couldn't ride for a moth with it in the tank. Cheers.
 
I have used Seafoam in my lawn mower and snowblower when i put them away for the season.. I have used it on my other fuel injected bike and never had an issue. I don't know if this is any help.. but i know i have not had any problems with it.

No help or harm Sioux. I just made the point it helped with slower starts.
 
I put it in the gas tank when they're going to sit for the winter ( actually, now, oddly enough, they sit over the summer, not winter). This is the last summer for that, though.
 
I ride on two wheels since more than 35 years - and I never had problems with dirt in carburators, injectors or tanks, also not with rubber sealings or something similar.

I do not use SeaFoam or something misterious like that - I use mineral two-stroke oil by 1:500, that's all...
