Run Flats

There are quite a few cars that use Run Flat tires now, Corvettes, Miatas, BMW's and so on. They run these because there simply is no room in the car for a spare. I would suspect that they have some pretty high speed ratings.

Is anyone using these on the back of a Rocket?

Hard to find a size to fit a stock rocket wheel and they are expensive. They are also heavier than a standard tire. That said if you really wanted a run on flat dark side tire you could use an 18 inch CF wheel. Check out MissTress by Rider Rocketman he is a .com guy or you can see his bikes on motocore.net. He had a section on good dark side tires.

yep. ran mine while flat,it was a little goosey but I made it home. of couse it was only about 60 miles, well maybe 85, but it still got me home (at about 30 mph).
