After I graduated from dental school staff and patients struggled or worried about saying my last name which is Donesky. I got the nickname Dr.D and it stuck.

Any chance of Polish origin?

I‘m curious!, Are You from the Netherlands by chance?.
I ask because of the name.
The Netherlands is A Very Beautiful Country!, I enjoy going to the coast when ever the chance arises which isn’t very often!, But well worth it when it does.

I'm polish lived in Poland ( of course) UK and Canada. A bit of all over haha

The “story” is my grandfather was German working for the Czar of Russia. At the Bolshevik revolution he fled and changed his name picking up a Ukrainian woman and moved to central Saskatchewan. My father’s native tongue was Russian.
