Rider footpegs

I recently had a left knee replacement op.(right one being done soon) and I am now having trouble changing gear on my Classic. Are there any alternative pegs or boards out there? Standard pegs are too far away as I have very short legs, and the Raask rearsets look as if they will force me to bend my leg too far for comfort. My only option will be to attack the standard set up and reposition the boards rearwards.

I have the Raask adjustable kit on mine Alan, you can put them where you like and the pegs are higher so better ground clearance.

Steve, thanks for the info, where did you get the Raask set from. M&P
are my local Raask stockist and they only list the rearsets.

Alan, try calling M&P they dont stock these but they can get them with a bit of a wait, they told me they were made to order, if not try Busters

If they DO....Alan send me a PM. Tomorrow Im picking up a new set that has been re-chromed, and never fitted, from a chap that thinks they wont fit his classic......you could save yourself some ££ :wink:

No reason why they wont fit a Classic Pete, you replace both side rails which bolt onto the engine.

Classic's have boards not pegs, would that make a difference?

You should check out TTS Performance's rearset kit. Install is more involved but I'd say it can be adjusted to a more touring position than the Raasks which are intended more for the sporty positions. www.tts-performance.co.uk or PM "blowme" (Richard) around here.
