Pretech 6 pots

I have McCruise -- second bike -- swear by them -- if you can afford it. For me, truly adds to the pleasure of cruising.

Kit comes with complete (truly) parts and extensive (truly) instructions with photos, reminiscent of the old Haynes repair manuals where they actually took apart the vehicle so their instructions were really how it was done.

And in the rare instance one needs factory help, they actually answer the phone and know the answers.

I'm waiting for their new electric servo kit (all previous kits, and the current offering for the Rockets, use vacuum servo) so I can install one on my daily commuter Honda.

The Pretech do work on the Touring, I had Spiegler make me up a set of braided lines, not too expensive, as I recall, but I don't remember the amount.

Imagine that the wheel is close to locking up under braking. Now picture the contact patch and see how it would move if the swing arm were to move 45 deg ( I know this is not possible but bear with me). That would slip or lose traction leading to a loss of braking. Now if the caliper were attached by a parallelogram link it's relationship with the contact patch would be constant no matter how much the swing arm moved. This gives better control. HTH

What he said - also removes any torque reaction from the wheel to the swing arm. Isolates suspension from baking influence. iirc Kawasaki did something similar on their track bike front ends.

Ok, not horrible. I figure if I buy Truck-lite LED's instead of JW Speaker I can get these for the difference. Well, almost. I think I'll leave the rear one alone, it's less important and on the Touring it's behind the bag anyway so no-one can see the butt-ugliness and for the rear its capability is fine.

Readily available pads EBC etc,
they come with pads fitted.
