Yes my mothers side of the family is pure German. My fathers side is pure Irish. Both families emigrated here in the early 1800's. But I was born here! I'm an American. I might debate some things I don't like here, but you will never see me bash the American flag, or go to someone else's country and start bashing their culture and laws.
I could just see me going over to Mexico City while waving an American flag on the front steps of the capital of Mexico City bashing Mexico. I don't think I would last long! Same with the UK or any where for that fact! Some times I think our freedom of speech laws are taken way too far past the limit of common sense.
Have you seen or heard about the radical Muslims that stand on the side walks in New York City espousing hate for the US and stating Bush and Obama should be killed? I'm surprised some nut job does not kill them!
