Are you tired of your panniers (Triumph OEM) having the slouched leather look? I've had a set of Flipmeister Pannier Stiffeners on hand for several months now, I finally got them installed. And these panniers look nearly as good as brand new. I also worked in a good measure of Blackrock Leather N Rich, also available from Flipmeister. I expect within a few weeks they'll be 100%.
The delay in installation was the result of galled stainless steel button head screws with the Allen heads stripped out of them. I had to grind them off and hack saw them out
But it all turned out perfect.
If you have these OEM bags with the stainless steel button head fasteners, get them out and put a dab of Anti-Seize (Permatex brand) compound on them.
