Hi, longdog here I have a 2005 roadster which has only 6 k on it iam the second owner the gearbox output shaft bearing went straight away so I had the whole engine rebuilt and upgraded with all the latest parts by triumph-ant in Wales had the first run out yesterday 260 miles and I have a slight oil leek coming from under the oil tank any ideas thanks l dog

Another welcome from Florida.Try loosening the oil tank bolts and wiggle the tank some hopefully this will seat it.

A 2005 std with 6k on it -now that is a sin so it is, now your speedo will be the next thing to go so before it does buy a new one and send the old one to me, welcome from sunny Florida via rainy Scotland.

Hello Long Dog and welcome Virginia. Your leak is somewhat normal for bikes whose former owners did not ride them. You may simply need to replace the seal as I suspect the original to be dry rot or damaged when the engine was taken apart. Good luck
