Detent spring is fine.went from first to second.and gear selector went sloppy.

Youre on it this just happened to cootertoo not long ago, shoot us some pictures of your operation and what that bolt has done when you get in there. @warp9.9 can give you an idea of time it should take you were asking about.

Had the sump of and front casing.no debris in there.clean as a whistle.

Hard to believe that they could make a bike for 15 years with such obvious transmission problems and never correct it. I love my Rocket, but I'm pretty soured on Triumph as a brand, probably would never buy another.
