Hello again everyone.
Thanks for all the feedback.
I have driving the bike for a while now.
Som more questions that maybe someone here can answer.
The gear position sensor was never solved. It was not possible to remove the pin that was stuck. I made the sensor springloaded instead. It was a gps for a suzuki. Connected the neutral to the ecu. now there is a neutral indicator, which makes it possible to warm up on the side stand.
My question is if it possible to disable the gearpos for the ecu. somewhere I have read that it is. if the original gps is no longer functioning should not the mil be lit?
I have purchased tune ecu but not hocked it up yet. Do I need a usb cable or does it work with elm327.
I normally and for years used that for cars.. I have tried to find info to disasble gps but no luck. How does the gear position affect the bike when it is standard. Adjusting the ignition setting rpm limit? Is it obvious or do I have to compare with another Rocket to notice it.
The other thing I have realized is that when it is hot outside and bike is hot the idle is low and sometimes stalling.
I suspect the ecu is not standard. The complete airfilter assembly is replaced by three k/n filter directly on the throttle. The low idle and stalling should that set the mil?
Greatful for some answers.
Regards Torsten
