Locking the radiator cap down? What?

I remember that radiator cap from the first time I was trying to find out what all needs to be serviced, and how....Nice story from you.

On my 2005 rocket i removed that screw in 2005 and threw it away I also did the same on my 2011 Roadster.

Threw it away? - Culd ye nae he' sewld it? - Och!

When i bought my Rocket the cap was slightly loose on its full travel and when really hot the rubber seal would lift enough to dump its coolant...My simple fix was to put a 1mm plastic spacer between the top of the rubber and bottom of the cap. Now its really tight to open and close and keeps the coolant in..
