Just picked up another Rocket.

Ive had a few beers at the Delta in Ngaruawahia, My brothers ex father in law ran it. Waingaro brings back some memories as well.
I know this is taking the thread sideways a tad, but when we were puppies on the turps, 2 of us sneaked into the springs in the boot(Trunk) of a '59 plymouth...while the girls drove..Could lay across that sucker no worries!

In my workshop I have the various bikes that I build Exhaust Systems for.
Currently I have a T140 Bonneville, T150&T160 Tridents, a BSA Rocket Three and a Norton Commando.
I use these to build one off specials on and to check production pipes.
I now have a new addition to the "Family"

This is going to be great to have as now I won't have to take the Exhaust System off my own bike.

This Bike was in a barn fire where a battery charger shorted out and over heated.
This was sitting right next to a stack of tyres which caught fire.
Three Harleys and two Rockets amongst other stuff was lost in the fire.

I've stripped all the crap off and just have the Engine and Chassis left which will work just fine for my purpose's.

i'd be interested in the make of the charger/tender.. i hope they were not using a 5 dollar tender
