Welcome Joe, good to have you join the R3 family.
I have worn out 2 Metz's and 2 Dunlops on the frt. Currently working on an Avon. It holds the road really well. but is also really soft. Don't think it will last too long. I usually get about 7k on a front tire before it is worn out on the edges.

xhdskip, no problems at all with the Avon front tire but it's still new. I had 12,500 on the metzler and I expect to get close to that with the Avon. I bought the AV71 cobra I like the way it looks and the bike has never ridden smoother. But 2 worn out tire of any brand will ride like crap. BTW 36psi front and 32 psi rear.

Running a Dunlop 404 out front with a Riken Raptor 225/55-16 on the rear. Both holding up well.

Hey Joe just watch out for Metz reversed treads. This picture is of a 08 and 09 Yamaha Raider.. Jeeze which way should the tread be. And they have no concern for our safety..Radials are meant to rotate only one direction. And people race on these things..
