If you have access to a Kuryakn dealer in your area you might try them. They have many sets that fit a metric cruiser that will raise the rear pegs. Here is their website.
If its just temporary, its not too hard to remove the bolt holding the pegs and you could install a single bracket ( liek you find in the hardware store with holes in it) that sticks up higher and reattach the pegs, just notch it so it doesnt rotate..
another thought, would be stirrups.
yep just like on a saddle, but make some that go over the seat, then you could remove them when you wanted to easily.
Ive been thinking of this too, but my wife is a little leary of me having the kids on the bike.. she is ok with me takign them onthe farm on a fourwheeler but more worried about on the street.
Id probably have to bungee them to the sissy bar to get away with it.
I would duct tape him to my jacket, but there would be alcohol involved in anything like. Sober I would have to say that at age 4 he is a little too young. A loud noise, a hot pipe, a large BEE, any number of things might make him suddenly JUMP OFF. It wouldn't turn out well. Especially when your wife finished the bike with a 16# sledge. Be patient, take him when he is big enough to hang on with his arms ALL the way around you. (Which would explain why my kids have NEVER ridden behind me!    ) See you at the Dragon.
