Thanks all for your replies and kind messages. I'm doing just that cootertwo. New oil is on its way, so that should give me an indication of what is going on when I drain the old stuff out....cheers all.

Don't pay attention to the service manual on the torque setting when it says 60 NM on the plug. It's just snugged.

YEP, that is technically for the upper plug, we went over this literally a year ago in that thread!

Dude 60 nm would be for like for an axel nut not any of the plugs.They both just need a slight snugging

Welcome... Big thumbs up on just cleaning it up and keep an eye on it, change it every oil change or every other, lube the spline when you change that tire!
Here is a helpful thread i had issues as well!
Its probably leaking from the bolt, Take out the bolt, change the oil, NEW BOLT... upgrade it, DO NOT use the OEM trash bolt and use a new crush washer or anneal the old one.
