I have been lurking for over a year, this is the most informitive and interesting forum I have ever known !
You people are first class!, I have learned so much I'm ready to show my face out of appreciation for your help on so many issues.
My experience with Triumph started in 1958 when I worked for a motorcycle repair shop after school, for afternoon HS credits, when gas was 19 cents a gallon ( you could drag main steet all night for $1.00)
After a 1957 Vespa and 1958 Indian Lance (wish I had that now) I turned to a 65 TROPHY( I think that was the year) next was a 1970 Tiger Cub, a few Hondas and now a 2012 ROADSTER, Iam 70 years old and the Rocket is the love of my life!
I have added Jards, Commander V+A/T (map from Hanso),Ramair, and my new Daymakers + Piaas WoW!
I'm now thinking about Carpenter 240 set-up, old guys like to go fast too!!
Again thank you for your help and looking forward to our association.

Rub it in!

John

Hey brother...people down here think somebody left the door open up north lately. I know it ain't cold like where you are, but folks down here are freezing their gonads off. When the heaviest thing you have in the closet is a wind breaker temps in the 30's with wind chill is a bit much, particularly when you add in the humidity from the gulf.

Welcome, I have not yet figured out how to mount skis on her. I am over in the Uintah Basin, beyond cold at this point. Tank full of fuel with a belly full of Sta bilt, in the garage under cover with the battery tender in place. Long winters nap looks like!:(
