Valkyrie v Rocket3t hard one.
Thanks for the welcome guys . Hard to give a balanced view on Valkyrie , RT3 . Had the Valkyrie new in 2002 and traded it in for goldwing 2006 . loved it and still think its was one of the best factory customs ever made and truth is i should never have let her go.Honda replaced it with the Rune , and thats just wot they done ruin a good chance to improve on a great bike .The Valkyrie had a very smooth engine and a sweet gearbox and great style i did not like how the Rune was styled But i loved the R3T as soon as i seen it and over all im very happy with it . Would have been happer if the fuel consumption was a little better and the gearbox a little smother ,but changing my riding style and getting better mpg and only done 1600 miles but gearbox seems to be getting smother and finding neutral is also improved . Each time i ride my R3T it gets better and i think in time i will love it more than the Valkyrie.

Welcome from NY!!! The R3T gearbox should have loosened up after the first oil change. This is where full synthetic oil goes in after the break in period. I have just about 6000 miles on mine and it has loosened up pretty good now. Miles per gallon obviously will improve as you know. Look around lots to see. Now the accessories start!!!! GIPro is a favorite for out of the box performance for little cash!
