Hello from Hastings.

Isn't nearly a millennium a bit long to carry a grudge, Steve? Let it go, Man! Let it go!
'salright Phil - we got our own back at Agincourt about 400 years later.
You wait - we've still not forgotten that thieving rebelious bugger G Washington. If I were you I'd start drinking tea and pdq.

Actually Billy the Conqueror dropped over in 1066, the Magana Carta didn't happen till 1215 - and there is an original copy at the Parliament House in Canberra. At least there was last time I was there.

But g'day and welcome to the OP.

All these years I have had it wrong,if I had known that imagine what I could have been, I learned all I needed to know in the first 3 years of school the rest was just waiting to be old enough to leave.:)

OW-DO, Richard. I'm S/West of you, It's a good forum, with really helpful/ friendly folk, from-- just about everywhere..:)

Evil all right we learned it parrot fashion , the Magna Carta was signed in 1066 at Runnymead ,Wow that really was of great use to me for the last 60 years but it is still stuck in my brain forever:eek:, we learned the times table in the same fashion at least that was useful,

Hey Ken
It wasn't any use to me either...I thought it was signed at the bottom :D:D:D
