Yes, I have a few forums in Germany (my second Heimat) have indeed lived for almost 20 years as a Nato soldier.

max are you saying you cannot attend the giant get together at Bad Brukenau in germany !! I did some years ago (2010) ad it was great, 75 rockets were attending and the food was exceptional worth the trip . I wished I could do it again .

And let us all remember that there truly exist Belgian waffles -- anywhere one cares to go in Brussels, the gaufres are to die for -- the likes of which I've only found in two places in the great wide US of A.

Speaking of NATO, I had business for a number of years in Heerlen, (really curious geopolitical feature -- a little finger of the Netherlands that juts down between Belgium and Germany), and Brussels was our transit point. Loved every minute I spent there.
