Bought it first week of Oct. 2020.
It is currently on the shop to fix an oil leak.
The motor has to be removed to access the transmission cover!..really pissed about this.
Welcome. My Rocket is also at the dealers getting a new tank put on after less than 1K on it. I believe they said today is the day they get the tank and replace it. I think we are the minority on serious problems with our newer Rockets. Nice looking Rocket
WELCOME! to our R3 Family. Sucks to be bit with troubles... but she' worth it. This actually reminds me of my 2010 Thunderbird 1600. I loved that bike but had every new-model problem they had. A family run/owned dealership helped me solve them. Once those were solved she was a dream. Unfortunately, at that time I could only keep one bike in my stable so she was traded for my R3T. No regrets...

Hello @BigHP and welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about your plight. The Triumph Rocket 3 has had many sales and phenomenal acceptance by the motorcycle community. It will be an icon for years to come.
You bought the bike in October and you haven't posted about the many positive points this bike has. How it accelerates, handles, looks, the fit and finish, positive comments from passers by, conversation piece at the coffee shop, etc etc etc. So the bike has a problem!! That's what warranty is for. Sorry about the oil leak requiring engine removal but at least it'll get fixed. How many miles do you have on it? Could you let us know where the oil leak originated and why the engine needs to be removed? Any pics. Anyway we usually like to hear from new members what their overall riding experience is with the new bike, along with other bikes owned or interests to share, etc etc.
Let us know a bit more about yourself. Much appreciated.

Any news from the bike? I bought mine last year too and I already took it back for the same problem you had. They “fixed” the leak by changing the bolt and washer they thought was the problem, I picked it up and the problem continues, so I took it again for the same problem last week and they have not tell me anything yet. I’m still waiting. Annoying
