2020 Rocket 3 GT
Good day Gentlemen ...

I'm enjoying my 2nd year on a 2020 GT...my 8th 2 wheeler (first Triumph) in 30+years of riding .. planning a solo run to Key West in early September..would really appreciate some insight on that ride as I've never been south of Tampa. I'm trailering to Tampa (time constraints) then will have a 3 day window to get it in from there.
I've also got the upper East Coast on my list but probably gonna have to wait til next fall.
Anybody with some insight for that trek please share...I've done a bit of the West Coast...most of the PNW on an R1 back in 2004ish...lived and worked there for 2 years simply for the access.
Anybody thinking of riding the PNW...I got some great perspective from the saddle..I'm happy to share.

Welcome from sunny (today) Texas.

Once you're on Hwy 1 the speed limit is about 50 all the way to Key West. The average speed on the keys is about 35 so don't be in a hurry to anywhere. Recommend you stop at some of the local eateries for some good seafood and Key Lime Pie. If you can swing it stay on Key West a few days and rent a golf cart to explore the place, traffic is horrible generally everywhere in the Keys. You can park the cart anywhere there's room. Enjoy your trip.

Welcome to the forum!

WELCOME! to our family forum from Miami, FL.... I wish I could be more help with your Keys trip, but we arrived here just before the pandemic and we're rolling out in a couple months. We've only been able to make a couple trips to the last Key, each time on 4-wheels. Traffic was challenging each time. We're looking forward to getting back to some open roads. The folks here at the tip of Florida are AWESOME! ...there's just too **** many of them... Heh!
Take care! ...and have a Great Ride!
