Harley-Davidson Bronx and Pan-America models delayed until 2021

I’ll bite! I work at Harley in R&D and laid off due to the Corona Virus (everyone in R&D). Can’t release a bike before it’s sorted and has a ready to buy customer base! Smart move corporate wise.

Plus you have new leadership and the corp is trying to figure out the future strategic plan. SARS2 aside, HD has an aging rider base, the livewire has been less than stellar and youngsters are less into riding and if they are they want smaller bikes. Add in the virus and its a mess.

And too -- must take with a grain of salt -- we've covered this ground before.

This being a Triumph site, we tend toward a less than rosy view of Harley, and site management have generally frowned on Harley bashing.

The Livewire (a fantastic ev bike!) does prove what H.D. is capable of ! Stay tuned, can’t say much other than there is more cool stuff coming!

I have heard lots of negative talk re the Livewire. I challenge anyone to check it out and ride it first! It is expensive. Isn’t everything nice!?

Which Harley Davidson factory is building the livewire? Or did they outsource to another electric bike maker and just put the Harley name on it?

I don’t have any negatives, just want to see HD turn it around.

Since I am new to Harley, I don’t know too much about the assembly plants (I work in engineering). I’ll keep ya posted. I do know, my engineering team developed it in its entirety. There are certain outsourced items like all brands (shocks, Imu, Ecu etc)
