Happy Labor Day

Homage to the great American Worker. Honest effort and ingenuity have carved this magnificent country into a masterpiece through times of plenty and, yes, periods of decline. Of late we are experiencing some significant malaise but we can still seize the initiative and rise again. We are a strong and resourceful people. I salute the intent and spirit of this unique democracy. Let's not lose it.

I agree with you HF. We are in dark times. Management has never been so insidious and dishonest. Duped minions drink the neo con cool aid while their jobs are steady being exported overseas. We are fed a steady dose of BS by both parties and certainly the banking institutions, nearly every major corporation and most of big government are not to be trusted in any case. Worse times may lie ahead. We may yet embrace an even darker vision come 2012. Nevertheless, hope is not broken, at spes non fracta.

Seize the day, never yield, stand your ground, never surrender. If your cause is just you constitute a majority of one; if your opponents are unjust they are a minority of a multitude.
