Thanks and hello to all of you! I'm likely going to drive the bike for a bit to see what, if any, mods I'll want to do. I actually enjoyed the sound from the stock exhaust, but you know us motorcycle types rarely stick with factory pipes! I'm looking at leathers. I figure the seat and exhaust can wait, but I do fancy myself in a 500 dollar Triumph jacket!

Then I saw a Rocket in person, sat on it and drove it. It was pure love. So my question is I have $600 in Triumph dollars as a promo. What would you put it toward? The exhaust? A seat? Do tell! Great forum, I've been lurking for a bit. Thanks!

Welcome to the board, congrats on the appropriate bike choice and I'm sure you'll be happy with it, I know I am happy with mine. Assuming the Triumph dollars are for Triumph gear, I wouldn't go seat; Mustang now makes a solo with add-on pillion that's probably a solid bet for anyone wanting a seat upgrade.

You might go with cleaning up your handlebars. Chrome switch cubes, a chrome reservoir cover, maybe chrome brake/clutch handles and mirrors that don't suck, like the Triumph oval ones, might be a start.
