I am considering flame thowers on my rocket. I am running jardines. There ar kits available on line. has anyone done this or have any opinions of this idea?
Did it on a couple of Valkyries, easy install, bypass switch will cut the ignition to one of the cylinders and send the signal to an add-on coil and plug that goes in the exhaust and you will get 3-5foot flames. get a good run through the rpms, shut the throttle down, hit the button and flame away...
This is my party flamethrower for my Birthday Bashes! Note the fella on the right , for scaling purposes...me thinks he was a bit close, but he didnt get burnt or spill his beer!
I dont recommend mounting my flamethrower on the Rocket though!
Bearing in mind that I'm in my mid-50's, so you might consider me to be 'over the hill', and I tend to have rather conservative tastes in many respects, I think if I saw someone spurting flames from their exhaust, my first thought would be along the lines of. 'What a tosser'.
I accept that I might be wrong though......... Each to their own.
Seems to be a British and Australian sentiment, doesnt it, on the subject of excessive flambouyance! In Australia, you may be in peril of being called a wanker having 5'flames coming outta ya bike's exhaust.... That and a freakin' bush fire hazard!
I wouldnt bother mate, it might just end in tears, gettin ya ride burnt.
