The previous owner of my bike had fitch catalyst in the tank.

Sounds like there is a couple marbles in the tank.

Does anyone else use this stuff.

I haven't decided if it is snake oil or if it really works.

The people who use it; swear by it. The people who don't ridicule it. I have yet to find any objective testing, except for the claims on the website.

Would be a job for mythbusters. They claim a 5-12% decrease in fuel consumption. You'd need a controlled environment to test percentages that small accurately.

They also claim that it never needs replacing, that's the old addage, you don't get something for nothing.

Guess, I could buy some drop it in a gas can and wait 2 years to see if the gas turns to gell or remains stable as they claim. But then thier 120% warranty is only good for 90 days.

Still, I'd like to see some scientific proof. Catalysts do change things, but in most scientific environments; the catalysts are consumed.

I live in the redneck capital of north carolina. Home of the "pump and munch" service station, every trailer has a mustang gt on blocks in the yard. We have our own race fuel tank; 110 octane, citgo juice.
