DP Shorty's

@RacerX74 Now you have had the DP Shorty Outlaws on for a while, what are your thoughts on sound and performance. Really like the look
I put off getting these because I wasn't sure I liked the look and they are a lot of $£'s new for what you get but I managed to find a used set only 3 moths old and snapped them up and they do look well made and fit the bike well .
first thing you notice is when the bike is idling is it no longer sounds like a 40 year old farm tractor its sound's more like a hot twin give it blip up to 1200/1500 rpm and you get an awesome bark then further up the revs its stats to sound something like a tuned turbo charged 4 pot car but then as you hit just under 3000 rpm TRIPLE SYMPHONY all the way to the red line ....is it loud YES .
second thing I noticed is the bike feel lighter and easier to turn without all that factory iron hanging of the back third thing is the performance it doesn't fell any more powerful but the needle shoots around the rev counter twice as fast so you have to make sure your left foot is ready under the shifter if you have cracked the throttle all the way open and that you have somewhere to point the thing you soon notice you got from point A to point B a lot quicker than normal .
lastly something I think is called decal pop and I'm aware some guys don't like it .well my bike did before and now it does it more and LOUDER and I LOVE IT ...I'm pretty sure it must shoot flames in the dark on the overrun ...cool !
Anyhow I expected none of this just to look a little better and sound a little better maybe they are worth that chunk of change after all ;)
