.....Well....The swap-out has been done this morning.
Took just under an hour and they also gave the bike a general health check as part of the complimentary TFT replacement.
I have to say that it was a very good dealer experience. Top marks for TriumphWorld, Chesterfield, UK. Credit where it's due, they deserve a positive mention.

Chatting with the guy who sorted out the warranty work via the factory warranty department, he told me that the TFT units fitted to the earlier Rockets (2019/2020 models in particular) had a fully sealed unit and these are apparently the units that were prone to getting cracked screens due to internal heat build up.
He said that Triumph made changes to the housing construction which is supposed to stop the units from 'popping' (i.e. cracking) in the heat, and that these revised TFT housings have been installed on newer year models. He didn't say which year the revised housings came out and I didn't think at the time to ask for more accurate information on the subject.
He said that the older housings do not have replaceable front display covers, as the unit is a fully bonded shell, so this means that it's not possible to just get a replacement glass/bezel.
I assume therefore, that the revised units do allow for the possibility of replacing the glass/bezel.

Glad that worked out well 👍

Do you have a part number for the new one?

I thought I saw a short small drain hose coming from the TFT on my R Stormn while I was detailing under there the other day. Could this be the pressure relief update?

If I can work out where the part number is on the housing I will post it up on this thread.
If someone on here knows where I should be looking, please assist.

Maybe.
I'll have a look on mine when I get time.

Just been booked in for the TFT replacement next Tuesday.
Informed that they want the bike for up to one hour to do this procedure.

I wonder if they will let me keep my screen cover/bezel off the old TFT as a spare, just in case I start getting the dreaded glass crack syndrome???
Took my dealer 40 min to do the replacement .

They obviously know they've messed up with the design of these otherwise they wouldn't be replacing them. The issue I have is how long will they keep doing this. They gotta start modifying the replacement part and fix the issue.
My display won't work the pins (apparently-dealer says) in the reverse side of the circuit board in the multifunction display screen had broken off (something they had not seen before).
The bike had approximately 2332 miles on it, having been serviced the day before. I did have some hopes with the mileage and low use Triumph would help but no.
Its a pain after having a total knee replacement (lack of flexion) I had to get forward foot controls so I could use the bike again. I can ride it the milage isn't working or for some strange reason the indicators also won't work... anyone know about the 'lectrics - I am tempted to try a bypass for the indicators, but the wires are hidden.
other not relevant details:
Got this new 2021 second bike in the states. started riding again.

No, the indicators are run through a CAN/BUS low voltage system using the ECU to control everything. You'll have to wire everything from new switches, relays, fuses, wiring to go that route.
