It was built by a company over here in Wales. http://www.trike-design.co.uk
That rear suspension was indeed inspired by racecar design. I haven't ridden any other trikes so it's difficult to say how this compares to others. But I am very happy with the handling.
 
Wow! That's really something. I'm not much of a trike guy, but I wouldn't mind having a go on that!

Well done if you want to ride bad enough you will find a way.
New a bloke nick named Scotty years ago from Lismore rode an 1100 Katana. Lost his left arm at the elbow had a prosthetic arm with a hook for grabbing things. Had his clutch, front brake, throttle and switch gear all on the right side. A short bit of handle bar pipe welded on the left at right angle that he could grab between the hooks. He was one of the fastest riders that used to hang around The Eltham Hotel on Sundays in the early 80's. Haven't seen him for 30 years but I'd guess he's still riding.
