This may not yet be technical enough but....what if someone changed exhaust to a 3x2 i.e. D&D or something to free up the single stock pipe on the left side...reconfigure the pipe (even slightly larger diameter) as a cooling tube with copper tubing and brass fins and exterior louvers to guide air flow into the pipe..allowing a reduction in size (width) of the stock radiator?...this is a far cry from real details but I think the idea could work...are there any of you wizards out there that might see this as possible? Maybe I will revisit this post in the morning before tequila hour....

Like an aftercooler?

The only problem is getting the airflow into the tube.

In an aftercooler, cold coolant is pumped from a radiator into a tube with fins. Hot air from a turbo or supercharger flows through the tube and through the fins, cooling it down.

Reverse that and have hot coolant pumped through the fins and cold air to dissipate heat as it passes through the tube?

Not sure how efficient that would be, especially if you're not moving, heat would just build up inside the tube.

you can reduce width easily by replacing with a double core--hi-flow--aluminum racing radiator from same folks who fab. sprint car radiators. all you'll get back there is recycled hot air off motor. good show bike idea tho!!

I wouldn't look at this as an after cooler as much as a cooling tube that is part of the loop..this may have it's own cooling fan possibly near the cat bypass area. Temps at idle is the biggest concern that I see so far..

Right, I was comparing it to an aftercooler as far as your design concept.

This is what I've considered doing. I hate the bolted on shrouds and peeling chrome, would much rather have a race radiator in there that is chromed or even powder coated black.
