On that simlar subject will a tune ECU cable for a FI Bonneville work on the Roadster.

TuneECU works on a few different makes and models, but TuneECU is free and uses an inexpensive cable. The TuneBoy cable will work with TuneECU using the TuneBoy drivers, but not the other way around.
Yes. All Triumphs use the same diagnostic OBDII-style connector. You can even use this cable on Aprilia and KTM models with different adapters.

But only the Tuneboy cable with USB connector. The TuneBoykabel with the old serial connector does not works with TuneECU.
