Skip's just talking about my ride to work bike, 1997 Honda PC800. It's 60 miles round trip for me and this one doesn't eat tires like Blackie! And I did it in my favorite color LOL!

No real experience with coatings designed to stick over chrome, but I have removed chrome, best way by far, and not TOO expensive and certainly fast, you take it to the chrome plater, they reverse it off. Leaves the base metal nice and undamaged.
