Was the biggest turbo manufactured back in 08, two of these bad boys was used on the Diesel engine that went into an oil tanker...
 
I'd like to see the specs. Car turbos typically exceed 100,000 rpm, and at those rates, the metallurgy of the impellers must be amazing.

The fact that it is a variable vain turbo amazes me the most, tips on impeller that size has to exceed the speed of sound at 100k rpm I would think...
