You are correct @Steel , rockets dont wheelie, never seen one do it , have you?

Shirley you jest...don't worry, I won't call you Surely...

I'm a little bit crazy, but not interested in doing wheelies myself. However, be careful BigNasty, I've done them by accident a few times. This is not your VTX. The R3 is eager to go vertical. I'm 6'2" and 260, so you have inches and lbs on me, but beware the tipping point. All that girth needs to stay in forward motion, not rearward.

Welcome from Dallas tx. At 6'6" you might like the Rockets that are a few years old with the foot controls farther foward then the newer Roadsters. Just make sure it's black. That's the fastest color.

Agreed, foot placement on the older models will definitely be more accommodating for taller guys...Unless you are willing to shell out some dough for aftermarket mods on the "no options" peg placement on the new models. A boneheaded move by Triumph, and the reason I'm not interested in trading up.

Yet another Aussie to say hi, and welcome.... The very day I test rode my Rocket it lifted up to say hi, that was it for me Had to have one there and then......
