Backfire

UK Daytona I also have a Tona and a Rocket. I get about 30mpg on the Tona and 25mpg (lifetime average) on the rocket. It really all depends on your riding environment and how heavy handed you are on the gas. I usually have to refill the 4.5 before the light turns on at about 110-120 miles.

I'm pretty generous with throttle on both bikes and live in motorcycle hell, stop n go all day every day, this is reflected in my mileage. The very few instances of freeway running I do get I average around 40.

Around here even the guys on the parallel twin triumph only get around 25-30 mpg because of the traffic, for them that is atrocious.

I recently tried disconnecting the PC, it backfired even between gear changes and was like a machine gun on decel. I connected the PC and adjusted the fuel to be richer, no it seems to have gone, guess it was running weak.
