I think every motorcycle tire shop in the US has had them on backorder for over a year now. Last I read Goodyear sold the name to someone who was going to make racing tires only, nothing for street use.

Last december I've had the Metzeler Cruisetec mounted. Front and rear. My opinion so far is that they are a good ride

I switched to Metzler also just before Christmas. We've had so much rain since Christmas I was starting work on an ark. Pretty happy with them so far. This weekend was my first spin in dry weather and they're brilliant. Cheaper, easier to get hold of and every bit as good as the Avons
