FINALLY got a renter for my property in Aurora so I can now crawl out of poverty. Hope to buy a set of his Frame Covers and a Partial Claw for my triple K&Ns. He no longer makes the Ignition Cover as they are too difficult to craft consistently. He has many years as a manufacturer of custom and experimental aircraft components. Very deep quality here.

You don't want to try your hand at carving up the claw yourself first? I've seen some decent work done by guys who thought they would screw it up .... >me.

And just what exactly, is wrong with the big chrome claw that Triumph made from years of research ?

It covers up and restricts the airflow to the triple K&N filters that many have chosen to replace that bulky, restrictive intake that Triumph made from years of research.

cut my own and save the dinero?

Actually did think of this since I have TWO claws. One brand new chrome and the original with a big scratch in the middle...where I'd cut presumably. How did you cut yours bro? Should I invest in a high output Dremmel(sp?) tool and/or plasma torch? I do have one to play with...no regrets if I screw it up either.

Those frame/neck covers are too sweet to pass up though:cool:

Good point, I haven't gone that route yet. I still want to believe in Triumph's years of research
One mod at a time. Plan to do the cat eliminator next.

I cut mine with a sawsall and finished it with a drum sander. Just cover it in masking tape prior to starting and it shouldn't even scratch.
