I really did not like most of the muffler options with the exception of the "Preditors" which were a little out of my price range. This sound better than stock; still not as deep a tone as as I was looking for. I wanted to go conventional muffler so I would not need to be re-packing it 2 years later. The build quality of the muffler is vantastic. My only issue is that if took on a bronze tint 10 minutes after I installed it. If I really want to I can always get it ceramic coated (black) for about $175
I thought those mufflers looked familiar. Years ago I had a set on my 67 TR6C before I could afford a stock Bonneville set. I purchased a set of headers from JC Whitney and bought the mufflers from a local MC shop. They were universal and very good quality.
I've seen an example of the ceramic coating a guy does in Seattle. He coats Airhead BMW headers and they look very good.

Where does one find a ceramic coating shop these days?
I used to have a BMW with a shiny, black ceramic coated Luftmeister exhaust system. I really loved the way it looked, but could never find a shop that could duplicate that coating. If you know of a place that does this, please post it to the list.

If you want a "deeper sound"
do what I did.
Harley drag pipe. WFO, except for a baffle from big city thunder.
Massive sound.
Without the baffle, lost to much torque to suit me,
it'd still out run a harley, but that ain't saying nothin.
Added the baffle, got most of my torque back and sounded REAL GOOD.
2.3KCC,
Yours looks to be about a foot longer than mine.
I'd like to have one about 6" longer than the one I have.
Say about to the axel.
The pipe is stainless steel not plated; they told me it will clean up easily with a scotchbrite pad. I have not tried it yet. The muffler is thick gauge stainless and is really well made.
