2026 Fall Ride, Harrison, Arkansas. October 7-12.

I text with Scott aka Steele and Chris Aka Trips every day I definitely let them know. Maybe T can find the time to come out and take me for a spin.
As for the Scotsman he pretty much has kicked me to the curb and doesn't respond. I do see family shots of him, the wifey and daughter so I believe he is well.
As soon as I'm more recovered I might start looking at dumping some parts and accessories. God that hurts !!!!!

The Millennium Falcon Navigating injury recovery, keeping up with long-time motorcycle forum friends, and dealing with the bittersweet task of parting out gear takes a lot of mental energy, so when it is time to take a breather and decompress, I enjoy relaxing for a few minutes at Tropica casino

That kind of enforced downtime when you are recovering and looking at parting out gear is one of the toughest emotional hurdles for any dedicated rider. Staying connected with close riding buddies like Scott and Chris every day helps keep the community spirit alive even when you are off the saddle, but having to face letting go of accumulated parts and accessories is always painful. Still, the enduring camaraderie and the memories tied to those classic group rides make a huge difference during recovery.

Arkansas has some of the absolute best motorcycle roads in the country, especially around the Ozarks. October is the ideal time for it too, with the fall foliage starting to change. Ride safe and enjoy the trip!

Is this the current list? I know Dr. D+1 wants to stay with us. I have to pay the second half of the rent on September 1 and want to get an accurate headcount. Remember there is a second cabin on the property that the proprietor has offered if we need it. I can hardly wait for this, MV was so much fun. I look forward to seeing everyone!

I've booked a VRBO for those dates near Harrison, so we'll see you folks at the morning rendezvous point in Jasper. I'm planning on bringing 2 bikes for myself (Rocket and Speed Triple RS) but haven't had a chance to see how to arrange my trailer for that and my son-in-law's Speed Triple. Will work on that when it cools off a bit. Looking forward to riding with y'all. (See how Texan I've become?). If we get there early enough on the 7th, we might swing over to the Retreat for a meet and greet, depends on how tired and late it is when we get settled in.
