    gearbox difficult on down change

I've got an 09 R3T and it happens to me too sometimes. Usually if I roll up to light say and just click down, it's like the lever doesn't come back up. I think if you change down with a little blip on the throttle it's ok. But for me too, it's just a some times thing. I mentioned it to my...

    Front Forks To Soft

I'm getting Progressives installed this week. Mine were very soft too. I'm letting the dealer do it because I think it's a reasonabley tricky job. Then I'll have progressives front and back, should make a big difference.

    crash bars

I ran up the back of a guy a few months ago, hit the deck and skidded about 6' and all I did was bend the front crash bar a bit. If it wasn't for the HWY pegs digging in I reckon it wouldn't have even bent that much. I ride an R3T and not a mark on the panniers. So I think the Triumph ones are...

    Replacement handlebars for Rocket Roadster

A friend of mine added risers, 2" higher and 1" back, Rivco I think they are, and he has a set of Harley bars. Heaps of them tp pick from so something should fit.

    Installing Triumph Front Dresser Bars

Just use a car jack and jack it against the kick stand. Doesn't need to be straight, just supported. Thats what I did when I had to replace one after a skid down the road. Work fine for me.

    Progressive 440 fitted

I've put the new progressives on and they certinally make a big difference. Most notably is handling. It sits on the road a lot better and there is no/a lot less wollowing etc when cornering. I had to make a few adjustments with the handbrake (wife) on the back but she reckons I was riding too...

    Louder Pipes

I have an 09 Touring and put D&D pipes on, K&N filter and a re-tune. Got bit more power and the noise is pretty good. Everyone I overtake say they sound really good. I'm happy with them.

I've ordered a set of 440s for the rear and will also do the front end soon. Do you just drop the springi into the forks and add oil. Is it that simple ??

    Stuff About Windshields

My screen did exactly the same thing to me. I tried different screen, made the lowers bigger but nothing works. I never use it now. I just rode 850km in one day without the screen and didn't have a problem. Drop the screem and enjoy the breeze.

    Rack for R3T

I bolt a piece of flat alluminium onto the rack to make it bigger and fit my bag. I only use it for long trips and take it off when I get home. Works fine.

    R3T Tire Pressure

Yeah, but tyre Manufacturers will give you a pressure to get the most out of their tyres, bike manfacturers want the best ride for thier bike, which is often less pressure. You got to weigh up what you want

    R3T Tire Pressure

I run about 40 psi in the front and 42 in the back. I was running 36 in the front, but was getting campher wear on the right side, creating a ridge just off center. With 40 in the front it takes some of the campher wear out and it's not too rough..

    First Service

Klumpy, I've got an R3T. Had it for 3 months and done 9500 km. I consider it run in. I just varied the speed up to 160 k/h within the 1st few weeks. I was told to break 'em in like you want to ride 'em. The other thing I did was change the oil after about 5000 km Have fun

    Removing Stock Pipes from R3T

Yeah, my mistake, I fitted the D&D pipe not TORS

    Removing Stock Pipes from R3T

When I did mine I had to cut about 1/2 '' off the left side pipe the muffler slips over because the bend in the new pipe was shorter than the original and when pushed all the way on it wasn't square with the bike. It was a bit hard hacksawing upside down, but I got there. Also you might need...
