Blinker Cancel / Running Lights / Flashing Brake

Or do what I did about 9 years ago on my Classic, place a small piece of foil tape on the glass over the light, problem solved. One of these days i might get around to pulling the bulb... ;)

    Rear brake pedal

The numbers escape me at the moment, but I learned the hard way because when my bike went over on the right side the DEALER replaced it with a Touring pedal. They kept insisting it was right. I had to go to BikeBandit.com, pull the numbers and show them it was incorrect. I just went there and...

    Buffetting Eliminated

I'm 6'6" with the stock seat and a Clearview 25" with laminair lip. The top edge of the windscreen is just at/slightly below my line of sight. I like this because I can look over it when it's raining/misting or duck behind when it's cold. Raising the windscreen isn't a good fix for me, it...

GAS TANK VENTING and CAP PART #

I've not had any problem with my stock locking cap. The only times I get fumes is right after I fill the tank and maybe sloshed some on the inner neck. You might want to pull the stock gasket, lay it on some gas-approved gasket material and cut a new one, or double up to get a thicker/tighter...

    Anyone use Xena disk locls?

Who's gonna steal a Rocket? Due to the relative rarity and obscurity of one, I can't imagine it is worth the hassle to bike thieves. It's not like a Harley, where parts are interchangeable over multiple models and years, or Jap bikes where there is a several hundred thousand model customer base...

    Seat Cushion advice needed

+1 on the Airhawk. It does what no gel or sheepskin can do; it actually provides some suspension for your butt. It cures monkey butt by flowing air through the cover and between the cells, it makes the R3 stock suspension livable by preventing hard jarring of your spine and it keeps your ass...

You are correct...here is video of the tailBlazer, pathBlazer and signalMinder setup in action on my R3. Cell video quality but you get the idea...

Please Give me the Bottom Line Regarding the Rocket 3

Welcome! My '05 hasn't racked up the mileage of these other guys, but it hasn't caused me any problems yet. Remember on any forum problems are emphasized, nobody starts a poll saying "who has 50,000 trouble free miles on their bike?" It's more like "Who has had XYZ fall off their bike?"...

    SAFE Ride System

I'm using the TailBlazer setup and it gives the turn signals priority over the flashing running lights when braking. So if you brake with the turn signal on or signal while braking, the brake light still flashes but indicators work normally.

    Look at these welds

There was a two part putty stick that they sold at the counter of the local parts store. It baked on like steel after a while when used on exhaust. I should know, the dual exhaust on my '72 Bronco was adorned with the stuff. I just found this; looked up "2 Part Exhaust Putty" and it says...

    POWER OUTLET

Please advise which keyless remote system goes for $30, I want that! If I remember rightly Digital Guard Dawg was around $400.

    POWER OUTLET

Yeah more or less. I know some of you suffer from phocomelia so the ignition swap borders on critical rather than cosmetic. While I have toyed with the idea of one of those wooden blocks on my key like someone here made, I fear the extra weight and leverage would only cause problems down the...

    POWER OUTLET

I just installed a Powerlet in the stock power panel, run a short powerlet cord to my tank bag. Then I tie phone, etc into the tank bag. My ignition switch has been good and I got long arms so I haven't seen the need to move the ignition.

    Kisan signalMinder Install with Pics!

Finally wired up two more of the features I wasn't using; I tapped into the right and left turn signal circuits so now the turn signals are daytime running lights, Hazard Lights and Escort Lights. Also they will flash in a decaying pattern as you brake to draw attention. If you brake while...

    Help on tank storage

You live in Arizona so I will assume fairly low humidity in the winter. I vote for cosmoline. And don't wrap it. You could cause moisture to accumulate.

Secondaries and TPS sensor issues Survey...

I'm looking for 4 pieces of information, so we can generate some data: 1. Secondaries removed? 2. Have you replaced TPS? 3. Have you had to adjust TPS? 4. Mileage ridden with secondaries removed, if removed. If not removed, just mileage. I'll start: 1.No 2.No 3.No...
