    Hey Mike..Thx.. problem is, Ive always had the battery on a tender... Even had it checked out... No problem??? Today I checked out the relays etc.. all good..Ignition sw..ok ,,so far..idk...as I said its really intermittent ...

    OK... Right now everything is working as it should...only thing I did was swap relays around etc...made the mistake of swapping 1 from lh side to the starter one on RH side..luckily it didn't work..Only reason I noticed it was I lost my running lights ..regardless swapped it back..same problem...

    HAHAHAHA!! I actually just moved down from Boston. I just retired and never had time to ride before.. Thats why such low mileage. I brought it down about a yr ago with only 6500 miles on it so have used it a bit more down here... :)

    Thanks!Im gonna check on it and let you know! From what I've been reading these bikes are famous for that issue and Triumph is well aware of it but won't do anything to address it. Must be making too much $$ on repairing them I imagine..

    Yes , thank you...I've been reading about that.. I need to pick up a repair manual...Im kinda lost.. haven't really worked on bikes much... Still trying to figure out how to lift the tank in order to get at it... Looking on line to get a manual... thx for your response!
